We are proud to announce that Latinas/os in New Jersey: Histories, Communities, and Cultures (Rutgers University Press, 2025), edited by Aldo A. Lauria Santiago and Ulla D. Berg, has received the 2025 Author Award from the New Jersey Studies Academic Alliance (NJSAA) in the Edited Works category.
This recognition honors the book’s contribution to understanding the rich histories, struggles, and cultural expressions of New Jersey’s Latina and Latino communities. The NJSAA Author Awards highlight outstanding scholarship that deepens knowledge of the state’s past and present.
