Puerto Rican Studies at Rutgers–History and Archive

In collaboration with Rutgers University Libraries Special Collections and University Archives, LCS faculty have recovered and reorganized the archive of the Department of Puerto Rican Studies through the decades. As part of the work of documenting the history of the department, the field, and Latinos in New Jersey, they selectively digitized–with the help of student assistants–a part of this archive, spanning from 1968 to the 1990s.

The processing of this collection as well as uncatalogued department archives is ongoing and will result in an Omeka-based site available to the public.
